Disconnect the elbow from the tee fitting at the bottom of the hot water heater.

Disconnect the water pipes from the inlet and outlet sides of the shutoff valve.

Remove the locknut that installs the shutoff valve in the bracket.

Remove the shutoff valve.

3. Lavatory Water Shutoff Valve Installation (Fig. 401)_________________________________________
A. General
(1) The water shutoff valve for the lavatory will be referred to as the shutoff valve in this procedure.

(1) Location Zone 224 Upper Deck Crew Rest Body Sta 385 to 632, Right
D. Procedure

(1)
Put the shutoff valve in its installed position.

(2)
Make sure that the handle can be freely turned from full open to the full closed position.
(3)
Install the shutoff valve in the bracket and tighten the locknut.
(4)
Connect the water pipes to the shutoff valve.

(5)
Connect the elbow to the tee fitting at the bottom of the hot water heater.
(6)
Make sure that the shutoff valve is closed.
(7)
Do this task: "Water System Pressurization" (AMM 38-15-60/201).

(8) S 864-025Make sure the water tanks are not empty.
(9) S 614-026If it is necessary, add water to the water tanks (AMM 12-14-61/301).
