Disconnect the electrical connector from the valve.

(2)
Remove the nuts and washers that hold the valve on the toilet tank.

Lift the valve out of the toilet tank.

(4)
Remove and discard the gasket.

(1)
Put a new gasket over the studs that hold the valve.
S 864-014
(2)
Do these steps to make sure the replacement valve is fully extended:
(a)
Put the replacement valve over the gasket.
(b)
Connect the electrical connector for the valve.
(c)
Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker on P414 Power Distribution Panel - Left: 1) 414E19 DRAIN VALVE LAV TANKS U-21
(d)
Operate the drain valve handle at the service panel to open the drain valve.
NOTE: Make sure the drain valve indicator light comes on.

(e) Operate the drain valve handle at the service panel to close the drain valve.
NOTE: Make sure the drain valve indicator light goes out.

Open this circuit breaker on P414 Power Distribution Panel -Left and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag: 1) 414E19 DRAIN VALVE LAV TANKS U-21
(g)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the valve.

Push the valve down into the tank and hold it in position.

Install the washers and nuts.

Connect the electrical connector for the valve.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker on P414 Power Distribution Panel - Left.

(7) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker on P415 Power Distribution Panel - Right.
