RINSE LINE SHUTOFF VALVE

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task removed the rinse line shutoff valve. The second task installs the rinse line shutoff valve.
B. The rinse line shutoff valve is referred to as the shutoff valve in the steps of these two tasks.
C. Make sure that you read and obey the specified instructions in the Standard Procedures for work with the Toilet Waste and Equipment (AMM 38-32-60/201).

2. Rinse Line Shutoff Valve Removal (Fig. 401)________________________________
A. Access
(1) Location Zone 224 Upper Deck Crew Rest Body Sta 385 to 632, Right
B. Procedure
S 864-021
(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P414 Power Distribution Panel - Left 1) 414C15 LAV LIGHTS GHB 2) 414F23 FILL CONTROL LAV TANKS
(b)
P415 Power Distribution Panel - Right 1) 415D35 UPR DK LAV FLUSH MOTOR U-21

(2)
Open the latches at the bottom of the toilet shroud.
(3)
Remove the toilet shroud.
(4)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the shutoff valve.
(5)
Disconnect the hoses from the shutoff valve.

Remove the nuts and washers that attach the shutoff valve to the adapter.

Put a new gasket on the adapter.

(2)
Put the shutoff valve in its position on the toilet tank.
NOTE: The top view of the toilet tank in Fig. 401 gives the correct

position.

Install the washers and nuts.

(4)
Connect the two hoses to the shutoff valve.

(5)
Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers.
