Install the Pressure Switch (Fig. 401)

 WARNING: REFER TO AMM 32-00-30/201 FOR THE LOCK INSTALLATION PROCEDURE.
_______ THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (1)  
Make sure that you install the door locks of the wing and the body landing gear (AMM 32-00-30/201).

 (2)  
Lubricate the O-ring with hydraulic fluid.

 (3)  
Install the new O-ring on the pressure switch.

Install the pressure switch in the module assembly with the crowfoot wrench and tighten the switch 90 to 110 pound-inches.

Connect the electrical connector to the applicable control module:

 (a)  
Left control module 1) Electrical connector DX358B of the pressure switch

 (b)  
Right control module 1) Electrical connector DX343B of the pressure switch.

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT ALL PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE AWAY FROM THE NOSE
_______ AND THE BODY GEAR BEFORE YOU PRESSURIZE THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS (AND OPERATE THE STEERING SYSTEMS). THE COMPONENTS THAT MOVE CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Supply hydraulic power to system No. 1 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Do a check on the hydraulic connections for leaks.

Disconnect the trunnion links of the nose landing gear at the apex (AMM 32-21-03/201).

Disconnect the steering actuators of the body landing gear from the torsion link (AMM 32-53-11/201).

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
