Remove the three capscrews that hold the transducer to the bracket on the cable compensator and remove the transducer.

 A. General
 (1)  The table that follows contains port/label and bit data. This data is necessary when you do a test of the transducer for steering input to the body gear.

 (1)  Make sure the replacement transducer has a plug with the wire leads soldered to the lugs on the transducer case.

With the index splines aligned, put the transducer shaft into the shaft of the cable compensator.

Attach the transducer to the bracket with the three capscrews.

Use the double-twist procedure to install lockwire on the capscrews.
