 (23) Do a check of the Take-Off Configuration Warning:
 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE
_______ AND TE FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (a)  
Move the flaps to the "Take-Off" position (10-20 degrees).

 (b)  
Move the stabilizer to the "Mid-Band" position.

 (c)  
Move the speed brake handle to the "Down" detent.

 (d)  
Release the parking brake.

 (e)  
Push and hold the CMC CONFIDENCE TEST line select key (LSK), to operate the Takeoff Configuration Check.

 (f)  
Push the CMC T/O WARNING line select key.

 (g)  
Make sure that the aural warning horn sounds.

 (h)  
Make sure that the master warning lights come on.

 (i)  
Make sure that the EICAS "CONFIG GEAR CTR" message comes into view.
