Put the module assembly in its position and install the four washers and nuts. Tighten the nuts.

Connect the three electrical connectors in the appropriate control module.

 (a)  
Right hand hydraulic control module 1) The electrical connector DX343A for the solenoid valve 2) The electrical connector DX343B for the pressure switch 3) The electrical connector DX343C for the servo valve.

Left hand hydraulic control module 1) The electrical connector DX358A for the solenoid valve. 2) The electrical connector DX358B for the pressure switch. 3) The electrical connector DX358C for the servo valve.

Test of the Control Module


 NOTE:____You can also taxi the airplane to do this test. That will put the steering actuators in the position for the test. Use the procedures in AMM 09-21-00/201 to taxi the airplane.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

 (a)  
P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
 1) 7G23 BODY GR STRG ARM AC
 2) 7G24 BODY GR STRG ARM DC

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Disconnect the torsion links for the nose landing gear at the apex (AMM 32-21-03/201).

Disconnect the steering actuators for the left and right body gear from the lower torsion link. Make sure the hydraulic hose clamp is not attached to the apex pin (AMM 32-53-11/201).
