The nose gear steering collar is a two-piece rotating support unit, mounted on the nose gear shock strut outer cylinder.

To remove the steering collar these steps are necessary:
-Remove upper torsion link
-Loosen electrical clamps and couplings
-
Remove Left collar pin
-
Remove right collar pin
-
Remove steering collar halves
-
Remove bearing halves.
D.
To install the steering collar these steps are necessary:
-Install bushings on shock strut
-Position steering collar on bushings
-Install steering collar pins
-Tighten electrical clamps and couplings.
