BODY GEAR STEERING COMMAND TRANSDUCER -

1. General_______
A. This procedure has these two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the transducer for steering input to the body gear.
(2)
The installation of the transducer for steering input to the body gear.
B.
The transducer is installed on the forward wall of the main electrical/electronics equipment center. To get access, remove the panel in the equipment center floor directly below the external access ladder.
C.
To remove the transducer these steps are necessary:
-
Remove the access panel
-
Remove the insulation
-Disconnect the electrical connector
-
Remove the screws and transducer from the cable compensator.
D.
To install the transducer these steps are necessary:
-Install transducer on the cable compensator
-Connect electrical connector
-Replace insulation
-Close the access panel
-Test the transducer.

P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7G23 BODY GR STRG ARM AC
2) 7G24 BODY GR STRG ARM DC

Remove the external access ladder.
(3)
Remove the 19 screws and remove the access panel.
