1. General
_______
A. This procedure has two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the steering tiller and the cable drum
(2)
The installation of the steering tiller and cable drum.
B.
The two steering tillers are found in the flight deck. One is found left of the seat of the pilot. The other is found right of the seat of the first officer. The removal and the installation procedures for the two tillers are the same.
NOTE: The steering cable of the nose wheel for the captain is identified
____ as NWS1A. The cable for the first officer is identified as NWS1B.

(1) G12001 - Rigging Pins Rigging Pins - NS-1, NS-2 and NS-3, 0.311 (+0.000/-0.002)-inch diameter, 4.00-(NS-1 and -2) 6.00-(NS-3) inch length.
NOTE: Rigging pin is part of G12001 tool kit
