 (3)  Open the 7G24 BODY GR STRG ARM DC circuit breaker on the P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel.

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (4)  Do this task: "Supply System No. 1 Hydraulic Power" (AMM 29-11-00/201).
 NOTE: Do not use the No. 1 hydraulic system aux pump to bleed
____ the nose gear steering actuator. The No. 1 system aux pump does not produce enough volume to make sure of an adequate bleed.

 (5)  
Bleed the nose gear steering hydraulic system by cycling the nose gear thru 5 complete cycles.

 (6)  
Do a test of the steering actuators.

 (a)  
Turn the captain's tiller from the neutral position to the left (counterclockwise) until the tiller stop is contacted and hold. 1) Make sure that the nose gear rotation from the neutral

 position is 70 (+2/-3) degrees.

 (b)  
Release the captain's tiller and allow the tiller to return to the neutral position without manual assistance. 1) Make sure that the captain's tiller returns to the neutral

 position. 2) Make sure that the nose gear returns to the neutral position |2.0 degrees.

 (c)  
Repeat the above step but turn the captain's tiller from the neutral position to the right (clockwise) and make sure the results are the same.

 (d)  
Turn the captain's tiller by hand as rapidly as possible to the left (counterclockwise) from the neutral position until the nose gear is fully turned. 1) Make sure that the full turning time is 9 seconds or less


 with no chatter or erratic system response.

 (e)  Repeat the above step but turn the captain's tiller to the right (clockwise) and make sure the results are the same.
 (7)  S 794-027Examine for leakage at the metering valve and the steering actuators.
 (8)  S 414-028Install the cover support bracket and the cover.
 (9)  S 864-029Close the 7G23 BODY GR STRG ARM AC circuit breaker on the P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel.

 Close the 7G24 BODY GR STRG ARM DC circuit breaker on the P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel.

 Remove system No. 1 hydraulic power (AMM 29-11-00/201). S 414-032

 Do this task:  "Nose Gear Torsion Links Connection"## (AMM 32-21-03/201).

 WARNING:_______REFER TO AMM 32-00-30/201 FOR LOCK REMOVAL PROCEDURE. RAPID ACTION OF DOORS MAY INJURE PERSONNEL OR DAMAGE EQUIPMENT.
 (13) Remove the nose gear door lock (AMM 32-00-30/201).
