WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THAT THE NOSE GEAR DOOR LOCK IS INSTALLED AND THAT
THE NOSE GEAR GROUND DOOR RELEASE HANDLE IS IN THE DOWN AND
LOCKED POSITION. MAKE SURE THAT THE LANDING GEAR CONTROL
HANDLE IS IN THE DOWN POSITION. INADVERTENT APPLICATION OF
HYDRAULIC PRESSURE CAN CAUSE THE DOORS TO CLOSE RAPIDLY AND
CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(4) Do this task: "Supply No. 1 System Hydraulic Power" (AMM 29-11-00/201).
NOTE: Do not use the No. 1 hydraulic system aux pump to bleed the
____ nose gear steering actuator. The No. 1 system aux pump does not produce enough volume to make sure of an adequate bleed.
S 872-017
(5)
Bleed the nose gear steering hydraulic system by cycling nose gear thru 5 complete cycles.
