Install the O-ring into the filter element and install the new filter element into the filter case (Fig. 301).

(2)
Install the O-ring on the filter case and turn the filter case into the filter head.

(3)
Torque the filter case to 40-60 pound-inches.

(4)
Install a lockwire on the filter case and on the filter head.
(5)
Install the access panel.
(6)
Pressurize the water tank (AMM 38-41-00/201).

1. General_______
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1)
Removal of the bleed air filter assembly.
(2)
Installation of the bleed air filter assembly.

C. Procedure

(1)
Release the pressure on the water tank (AMM 38-41-00/201).

(2)
Remove the access panel from the aft bulkhead in the aft cargo compartment.
S 024-004
(3)
Remove the bleed air filter assembly as follows:
(a)
Disconnect the air lines from the air filter assembly (Fig. 401).
(b)
Remove the mounting bolts from the bleed air filter assembly.
(c)
Remove the bleed air filter assembly.
(4)
Install a protective cap on each of the air lines.
