C. Procedure

(1) Service the toilet but ignore the steps that add the chemical precharge (AMM 12-17-00/301).
NOTE: This does a check to make sure the toilet tank has been
____ drained and flushed and the drain valve for the tank is closed.

(2) Make sure the drain valve control handles on the service panels for all the toilet tanks are pushed all the way.
NOTE: The toilet tank drain valves must be closed before you add
____ water through the flush ports, on the service panels, for all the toilet tanks.

(3) S 865-167AIRPLANES WITH THE AUXILIARY WASTE TANK; Make sure the drain valve control handle, on the aft service panel, for the auxiliary waste tank is completely pushed in all the way.
NOTE:____ The toilet tank drain valve must be closed before you add water through the flush ports, on the aft service panel, for the aft toilet tanks.
(4) S 015-170Remove the toilet shroud(s) to get access to the toilet tank(s).
(5) S 865-168Connect a water source to the flush port(s), on the service panel.
(6) S 865-084Continue to add water to the toilet tank(s) through the flush port(s) until the water can be seen at the bottom of the toilet bowl(s).
NOTE:____ AIRPLANES WITH THE AUXILIARY WASTE TANK; The aft toilet tanks will not completely fill with water until the auxiliary waste tank is completely full and the aft toilet tank overflow standpipes are topped off. All the aft toilet tanks will fill to the same water level at the same time after the auxiliary waste tank is completely full. All the aft toilet tanks and the auxiliary waste tank need to be completely full of water during this test.
(7) S 865-085Disconnect the water source from the flush port(s).
(8) S 865-161Disconnect the flush line(s) from the check valve(s) on the toilet tank(s).

Use a bucket to slowly add water to the toilet bowl(s) until you either see water come out of the inlet to the check valve(s) or when the toilet bowl(s) are half-full of water.

After 5 minutes, make sure there is no water leakage at the inlet to the check valve(s).

If there is water leakage, replace the check valve(s).
D. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

Connect the flush line(s) to the check valve(s).
