Valve - Control (pressure rating 150 psig minimum, 3/8 inch minimum globe type, 15 scfm minimum flow at 50 psid)

Regulator - Pressure (pressure rated for air source, outlet pressure adjustable, zero to 100 psig, 3/8 inch minimum)

Filter Air (in-line type)
(5)
Compressed Air Supply (80 psig, 15 scfm minimum)

Do this task: Pressure Regulator Removal.

Do a check of the pressure regulator.

Connect these components to a source of compressed air that does not have oil, as shown in Fig. 202. 1) Water tank pressure regulator 2) Control valve 3) Pressure gages 4) Adjustable Pressure Regulator (0-100 psig) 5) Air filter

Close the control valve.

(c) (d) (e) With the initial pressure at zero psig, slowly increase the pressure to the pressure regulator.Look at the pressure gage while you increase pressure.Keep a record of the upstream pressure and downstream pressure through the pressure regulator. 1) With the upstream pressure from 60 to 65 psig, the downstream pressure must be 23 to 27 psig for the 1552-002-9 pressure regulator and 32 to 38 psig for the 1552-002-19 pressure regulator.
(3) S 782-015If the downstream pressure is not in the pressure range that is specified in the above step, replace the pressure regulator.
(4) S 782-018Reduce the upstream pressure to zero psig.
(5) S 422-045Do the task: Pressure Regulator Installation.
