CAUTION:_______DO NOT USE A PINE-OIL BASED CLEANER. THE PINE-OIL MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO TOILET PARTS.
(4) Clean the external surfaces of the filter assembly with one of the procedures that follow:
(a) A solution of disinfectant detergent with a soft bristle brush.
NOTE: Use the manufacturer's instructions to make the

WARNING: STEAM OR VAPOR PRESSURE CLEANING CAUSES HAZARDOUS NOISE LEVELS
_______ AND CAN CAUSE SEVERE BURNS AND INJURY TO THE EYES. YOU MUST WEAR A FACE SHIELD, RUBBER APRON, RUBBER BOOTS, EAR PLUGS/MUFFS AND NON-ASBESTOS HEAT RESISTANT GLOVES.
USE APPROVED PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (GOGGLES/FACE SHIELD) WHEN YOU USE COMPRESSED AIR. YOU MUST LIMIT THE AIR PRESSURE TO LESS THAN 30 PSI. SUPPLY PROTECTION FROM FLYING PARTICLES. DO NOT POINT THE AIR AT YOU OR OTHER PERSONS. THE HIGH PRESSURE AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
(b) Steam cleaning.

Dry all of the surfaces of the filter assembly with dry compressed air.
(6)
Remove the nut and the washer at the bottom of the filter assembly.
(7)
Move the filter basket down and away from the pump.

Find the spacer in the filter basket and keep the spacer for the installation.

Point the steam through the discharge tube and the filter screen to clean the filter basket.

Dry all the surfaces with the dry compressed air.
E. Put the Airplane to Its Usual Condition

Put the spacer on the stud at the bottom of the pump housing.
(2)
Put the filter in its position.
(3)
Install the washer and nut.
(4)
Install the filter assembly on the toilet tank (AMM 38-32-21/401).
