S 214-013
(1) Make sure the attach surface of the end closure, the retaining ring, the transmitter, and the tank do not have defects.

(2) S 434-014Carefully put the transmitter and the tube through the boss.
(3) S 434-015With the transmitter inside the tank, install the float and the cotter pin on the transmitter tube.
(4) S 424-016Carefully turn the part of the transmitter with the threads into the boss on the tank.
(5) S 434-017Install a new O-ring on the boss.
(6) S 424-033Install the transmitter fitting, the bonding lug, the screws, and the lockwire on the top of the boss.
(7) S 434-018Install a new O-ring in the groove of the end plug.
(8) S 414-020Install the new O-ring and make sure you cannot see the red marks in the bottom of the groove.

ú ú ú CAUTION:_______ STRIKE THE END PLUG LIGHTLY WITH A NON-METALIC MALLET. AMETALIC INSTRUMENT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE TANK, THE END PLUG,OR THE RETAINING RING.

ú (10) Visibly inspect the water tank end cap or caps for the presence of

Close the WATER QTY IND circuit breaker on the P18 panel and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task removes the water fill and overflow valve (fill valve). The second task installs the fill valve.
B. You must drain the water tank to remove the fill valve.
