CAUTION: DO NOT PRESSURIZE THE PASSENGER CABIN TO MORE THAN
_______ 19 PSI ABSOLUTE (APPROXIMATELY 4 PSI ABOVE AMBIENT). A PRESSURE THAT IS MORE THAN 19 PSI ABSOLUTE WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE OXYGEN EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Pressurize the passenger cabin to 3 psi more than the ambient pressure (AMM 05-51-91/201 and AMM 21-31-00/201).

Keep the cabin pressure at 3 psi for five minutes.

Look for leakage from the waste system component being tested.

Return the cabin pressure to ambient pressure.

8. Vacuum Fixture Test (Fig. 501)___________________
A. General
(1)
The vacuum fixture test is optional to the cabin pressurization test.
(2)
The vacuum test fixture, G38005, with the correct adapter may be used on either the forward or aft service panel.
(3)
The vacuum test fixture, F73010-27, is designed for use with the forward service panel.
B. Equipment
(1)
Vacuum test fixture, G38005, with vacuum source, gage and vacuum relief valve
(2)
Vacuum test fixture, F73010-27, with vacuum source, gage and vacuum relief valve
(3)
Compressed air source (shop air) - 50 psi minimum
(4)
Ear plugs or headset - for protection from the air noise
