TOILET FLUSH MOTOR-PUMP-FILTER ASSEMBLY - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task removes the flush motor-pump-fliter assembly from the waste tank. The second task installs the flush motor-pump-filter assembly on the motor for the waste tank.
B. The flush motor-pump-filter assembly is referred to as the filter assembly in this procedure.

Clean the applicable tank (AMM 12-17-00/301) but do not add the precharge.

Open the applicable LAV FLUSH MOTOR circuit breaker on the panel P18, and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.
NOTE: Each lavatory has a circuit breaker for the flush motor.

(3) AIRPLANES WITH RUMBOLD OR YRC MODULAR LAVATORIES;
Remove the toilet shroud as follows:
(a)
Remove the fasteners (2 locations) that hold the flush handle and the face plate to the shroud.
(b)
Turn the collar inwards to disengage the hooks and remove the collar.
