Drain and flush the lavatory waste tanks that connect to the auxiliary waste tank from the external service panel (AMM 12-17-00/301).

Put a sheet of protective plastic under the auxiliary waste tank.
D. Remove the Auxiliary Waste Tank

Disconnect the overflow line(s) from the auxiliary waste tank.
(2)
Disconnect the flush line from the auxiliary wate tank.
(3)
Disconnect the drain line from the auxiliary waste tank.

Disconnect the control cable for the drain valve at the quick-disconnect.

Remove the fasteners that hold the tank to the floor structure.

CAUTION:_______BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU REMOVE THE AUXILIARY WASTE TANK. IF THE TANK OR TANK FITTINGS TOUCH OTHER SURFACES, DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
(8) Remove the auxiliary waste tank through the aft cargo compartment.
NOTE: Move the tank so it is clear of all blockages, if it is

necessary.

CAUTION:_______DO NOT SET THE AUXILIARY WASTE TANK ON THE TANK OUTLET. IF THE TANK OUTLET TOUCHES OTHER SURFACES, DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
(9) Put the auxiliary waste tank on the supports and make sure the tank outlet does not touch other surfaces.

(1) Apply large quantities of the BMS 5-95 sealant to the surfaces of the shear pins.
NOTE: The shear pins are found in the area under the installed
____ toilet tank. The lavatories that are just forward of the aft entry doors have two shear pins. The other lavatories have four shear pins.

Lubricate the outlet drain O-ring and outlet drain adapter with grease.
