(20) This step is applicable to only airplanes with the toilet-drain ball valve installed: Pull the tank drain-valve handle on the forward toilet service-panel and lock in the open position.
NOTE: This opens the ball valve in the drain tube.

(21) If you see water in the drain tube, do the steps that follow:
(a)
This step is only applicable to airplanes with non modular lavatories: Before you continue, make sure the water is not from the waste-water drain on the lavatory floor, which connects to the toilet drain tube.
