(2) Do these steps to drain the precharge:
(a)
Close the service panel drain valve.
(b)
Open the toilet tank drain valve.
(c)
Open the service panel drain valve cap.
(d)
Connect the drain hose to the service panel.
(e)
After 5 minutes, open the flapper valve.

Remove and discard the o-ring on the flapper valve (Fig. 201).

Apply a thin layer of lubricant to the surface of the o-ring and install it on the flapper valve.

Remove and discard the o-ring on the outer cap (Fig. 201).

Apply a thin layer of lubricant to the surface of the o-ring and install it on the outer cap.

Make sure there are no leaks at the service panel when the drain tube is filled with water (AMM 38-32-00/501).
E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1) Add the chemical precharge to the waste tank and do the remaining steps of the toilet servicing procedure (AMM 12-17-00/301).

WASTE TANK DRAIN DUCT NIPPLE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task removes the drain duct nipple for the waste tank. The second task installs the drain duct nipple for the waste tank.
