TOILET TIMER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Toilet Timer Removal (Fig. 401)____________________

B. Procedure

(1)
Open the applicable LAV FLUSH MOTOR circuit breaker on the P18 Panel and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.

AIRPLANES WITH RUMBOLD OR YRC MODULAR LAVATORIES;
Remove the toilet shroud as follows:
(a)
Remove the fasteners (2 locations) that hold the flush handle and the face plate to the shroud.
(b)
Turn the collar inwards to disengage the hooks and remove the collar.
(c)
Pull the left hand collar away and inwards to disengage the boss from the keyhole slot.
(d)
Lift the shroud off the support blocks and disengage the bottom from the floor pan.

Disconnect the electrical connectors from the timer.
(4)
Remove the timer attachment screws (4 locations).

Do these steps to remove the toilet back shroud

(a) In the forward lavatory, remove the fasteners (2 locations).
1) Remove the access panel for the toilet back shroud below the flush handle.

(b) In the other lavatories, remove the fasteners for the toilet back shroud at 6 locations.

Remove the attach screw for the timer handle and remove the timer handle.

Disconnect the electrical connectors from the timer.

(8)
Remove the mounting nuts that hold the timer in the timer panel or faceplate.

Remove the timer.
