D. Install the Potable Water Tank (Fig. 401)

CAUTION:_______BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU INSTALL THE WATER TANK. IF THE DRAIN VALVE AND THE QUANTITY TRANSMITTER TOUCH OTHER SURFACES, DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
(1)
Carefully put the water tank on the mounting brackets.

Install or connect the items that follow:
(a) Install the bolt assembly in the aft mounting bracket.
NOTE: The bolt attaches to a nutplate on the outboard support

bracket.
(b) Install the bolts and washers on the struts on the forward side of the water tank.
NOTE: Do not tighten the bolts.

(c)
Attach the air pressure line to the water tank.
(d)
Attach the water fill line to the water tank.
(e)
Attach the overflow line to the water tank.
(f)
Attach the water supply line to the water tank.
(g)
Install the actuator shaft for the drain valve through the service panel.
(h)
Attach the actuator shaft coupling to the drain valve adapter with the connect pin and washers as follows: 1) Install the adapter connect pin. 2) Make sure the drain valve is closed. 3) Engage the valve shaft handle.
(i)
Install the electrical connection on the quantity transmitter.

(3) Tighten the aft and the forward bolts to a torque of 25 to 30 pound-inches.
