Remove the toilet tank shroud.
(a) Airplanes with the Rumbold or YRC modular lavatories: 1) Remove the fasteners (2 locations) that attach the flush handle with the face plate to the shroud.
2) Find the latch handle on the forward face of the shroud at the floor level. Turn the latch handle to disengage the catch which attaches the shroud to the toilet.
3) Pull the left latch handle away and inward to disengage the boss from the keyhole slot. 4) Lift the shroud off the support blocks, disengage the bottom from the floor pan, and remove the shroud.
(b) In ALL EXCEPT Rumbold, YRC, and Weber forward modular lavatory: 1) Remove the four attach screws from the shroud. 2) Remove the shroud from the lavatory.

Disengage the control cable for the drain valve at the cable quick-disconnect.
(4)
Loosen the attach nuts for the drain valve.
