1. General_______
A. Toilet Drain Heaters
(1) The aft toilet drain has a heater to stop ice formation. The heater is in the drain gasket. The heater operates with 115v ac current. The DRAIN HEATER circuit breaker on the P18 panel controls the heater.

1. General_______
A. Before using the following trouble shooting chart, test the system (Ref 30-71-00 A/T).
B. Trouble shooting procedures are based on the assumption that electrical power is available. If remedy in procedure does not correct problem, check wiring continuity using wiring diagram.
C. Heating system operates on 115 volts ac.
D. There are no indicator lights or gages to verify that the heater system is functioning. Indication of a malfunction will appear as a clogged drain line caused by water freezing in the system.
E. If drain line is clogged, check that stoppage is not caused by foreign material or a damaged line.
2. Prepare for Trouble Shooting____________________________
A. Check that airplane is on landing gear in normal attitude.
B. Close DRAIN HEATER circuit breaker on P18 LOAD CONTROL CENTER - LEFT.
C. Close LANDING GEAR LIGHTS circuit breaker on P6 LOAD CONTROL CENTER -RIGHT.
D. Open STALL WARN-1-AC circuit breaker on P18 LOAD CONTROL CENTER - LEFT.
E. Provide electrical power.

3. Drain Mast Heaters Trouble Shooting
TROUBLE PROBABLE CAUSE ISOLATION PROCEDURE REMEDY
Toiler drain lines frozen Loss of electri-cal continuity from circuit breaker to toilet drain heater Check electrical conti-nuity from applicable breaker to toilet drain heater Repair circuit as necessary
