Set the LIGHTS switch (P2 pilots' center instrument panel) to DIM. 1) Make sure that the MASTER CAUTION lights and the ANTI-ICE
light become dim.
(f)
Set the LIGHTS switch to BRT.
1) Make sure that the MASTER CAUTION lights and the ANTI-ICE light become bright.
(g)
Remove the jumper from electrical connector D2558.
(h)
Connect D2558 to the TAI pressure switch.

(8) Do a test of the cowl overheat indication:
(a)
Disconnect electrical connector D3360 from the TAI overheat switch.
(b)
Install a jumper between pins A and D of D3360. 1) Make sure that the COWL ANTI-ICE light comes on. 2) Make sure that the two MASTER CAUTION lights come on. 3) Make sure that the ANTI-ICE light comes on.
(c)
Remove the jumper from electrical connector D3360.
(d)
Connect D3360 to the overheat switch.
(e)
Make sure that the COWL ANTI-ICE light goes off.
(f)
Push one of the MASTER CAUTION lights.
(g)
Make sure that the two MASTER CAUTION lights and the ANTI-ICE light go off.

(9) Do a test of the indication for the TAI valve position:
(a) Set the applicable ENG ANTI-ICE switch to ON and then OFF several times. 1) Make sure that the TAI pilot valve opens and closes as you
set the switch to ON and OFF.
NOTE: Listen to the TAI pilot valve or feel it to make
____ sure that it opens and closes.
(b)
Set the ENG ANTI-ICE switch to ON. 1) Make sure that the COWL VALVE OPEN light comes on brightly.
(c)
Manually turn the shutoff valve to the OP (open) position. 1) Make sure that the COWL VALVE OPEN light becomes dim.
(d)
Manually turn the pressure regulator valve to the CL (closed) position. 1) Make sure that the COWL VALVE OPEN light comes on bright
(this shows that the valve is at the closed position).
(e)
Manually turn the pressure regulator valve to the OP (open) position. 1) Make sure that the COWL VALVE OPEN light becomes dim.
(f)
Set the ENG ANTI-ICE switch to OFF. 1) Make sure that the COWL VALVE OPEN light becomes bright.
(g)
Manually turn the shutoff valve to the CL (closed) position.
1) Make sure that the COWL VALVE OPEN light goes off (this shows that the valve closes).
