 (r) When the thermal switch is cool, monitor the TAI valves and
 lights.
 1) See that the L VALVE OPEN and the R VALVE OPEN lights are
 on dimly.
 2) See that the TAI valve in each wing is open.
 (s) Put the WING ANTI-ICE switch in the OFF position.
 (t) Install the thermal switch in the TAI duct in the right wing
 (AMM 30-11-21/401).

 (3)  Do this test to make sure the system operates correctly in flight.
 (a) Put the WING ANTI-ICE switch in the ON position.
 ú  (b) Open the LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LIGHTS and the LANDING
 ú  GEAR - NOSE GEAR AIR/GND circuit breakers on the P6 panel.
 (c) See that the L VALVE OPEN and the R VALVE OPEN lights come on
 brightly for 1 to 3 seconds.
 (d) See that the L VALVE OPEN and the R VALVE OPEN lights are off
 after three seconds.
 (e) See that the wing TAI switch moves to the OFF position
 automatically.
 (f) See that the wing TAI valves close.
 (g) Put the WING ANTI-ICE switch in the ON position.
 (h) See that the L VALVE OPEN and the R VALVE OPEN lights come on
 brightly for 1 to 3 seconds.
 (i) See that the L VALVE OPEN and the R VALVE OPEN lights come on
 dimly after 3 seconds.
 (j) See that the wing TAI valves open.
 (k) Remove electrical connector D3200 from the low flow solenoid in
 the left strut.
 (l) Measure between 0 and 1 VDC between pins 1 and 2.
 ú  (m) Close the LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LIGHTS and the LANDING
 ú  GEAR - NOSE GEAR AIR/GND circuit breakers on the P6 panel.

 (n)  
Measure 28 VDC between pins 1 and 2 of the D3200 electrical connector.

 (o)  
Remove the D3202 electrical connector from the low flow solenoid in the right strut.

 (p)  
Measure 28 VDC between pins 1 and 2 on the D3202 electrical connector.

 (q)  
Open the LANDING GEAR - NOSE GEAR AIR/GND circuit breaker on the P6 panel.

 (r)  
Make sure the WING ANTI-ICE switch is in the ON position.

 (s)  
Measure 0 to 1 VDC between pins 1 and 2 on the D3202 electrical connector.

 (t)  
Connect the D3202 electrical connector to the low flow solenoid in the right strut.

 (u)  
Connect the D3200 electrical connector to the low flow solenoid in the left strut.

 (v)  
Close the LANDING GEAR - NOSE GEAR AIR/GND circuit breaker on the P6 panel.

 (w)  
Put the WING ANTI-ICE switch in the OFF position.

 (x)  
Make sure the wing TAI valves close.

 (4)  Make sure the throttle switches operate correctly on the ground.
 (a)  
Put the WING ANTI-ICE switch in the ON position.

 (b)  
Push the left thrust lever fully forward.

 (c)  
See that the L VALVE OPEN and the R VALVE OPEN lights come on continuously bright.

 (d)  
Pull the left thrust lever to the IDLE position.

 (e)  
See that the L VALVE OPEN and the R VALVE OPEN lights come on dimly after 1 to 3 seconds.

 (f)  
Push the right thrust lever fully forward.

 (g)  
See that the R VALVE OPEN and the L VALVE OPEN lights come on continuously bright.

 (h)  
Pull the right thrust lever to the IDLE position.

 (i)  
See that the L VALVE OPEN and the R VALVE OPEN lights come on dimly.
