(2) Remove the module.
(a)
Release the fasteners that hold the module.
(b)
Lower the module.
(c)
Disconnect the D638 electrical connector.
(d)
Disconnect the D644 electrical connector.

A. Procedure

(1) Connect the module to the electrical connectors.
(a)
Connect the D638 electrical connector.
(b)
Connect the D644 electrical connector.

Push the module into the overhead panel.

Tighten the fasteners that hold the module.

Close these circuit breakers and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
On the P6 panel: 1) MSTR CAUTION - ANTI-ICE 2) PITOT STATIC INDICATION - CAPT 3) PITOT STATIC INDICATION - F/O 4) R FRONT WINDOW ANTI-ICE 5) L FRONT WINDOW ANTI-ICE 6) R SIDE WINDOW ANTI-ICE 7) L SIDE WINDOW ANTI-ICE 8) RIGHT NO. 4 AND NO. 5 WINDOW ANTI-ICE 9) LEFT NO. 4 AND NO. 5 WINDOW ANTI-ICE
(b)
On the P18 panel:
1) Below HEATERS - PITOT STATIC a) CAPT - UPPER L b) CAPT - LWR R c) F/O UPPER R d) F/O LWR L e) ELEVATOR PITOT - R f) ELEVATOR PITOT - L
2) TEMP PROBE 3) ALPHA VANE HTR - R 4) ALPHA VANE HTR - L
(c) Below WINDOW HEAT CONTROL
1) RIGHT FRONT AC
2) RIGHT SIDE AC
3) LEFT FRONT AC
4) LEFT SIDE AC

(5) Do a test of the lights for the heaters in the Pitot-Static system.
(a)
Push each light.
(b)
See that the light comes on.
(c)
Put the PITOT STATIC A switch in the ON position.
(d)
Put the PITOT STATIC B switch in the ON position.
(e)
Make sure that the lights for the heaters in the pitot-static system are off.
WARNING:_______DO NOT TOUCH THE HEATERS TO KNOW THEY ARE ON. FEEL THE AIR NEAR THE HEATERS TO KNOW THEIR TEMPERATURE. THE HEATERS CAN GET VERY HOT AND CAUSE INJURY IF YOU TOUCH THEM.
(f)
Feel near each pitot-static heater to make sure it is hot.
(g)
Put the PITOT STATIC A switch in the OFF position.
(h)
Put the PITOT STATIC B switch in the OFF position.
(i)
Make sure that the lights for the heaters in the pitot-static system come on.

(6)
Do a test of the window anti-ice system.
(a)
Make sure the MASTER CAUTION lights and the ANTI-ICE
annunciator lights are off.
(b)
Put each WINDOW HEAT switch in the ON position.
(c)
Feel that the applicable window gets warm.
(d)
See that the applicable ON light is on.
(e)
Put the WINDOW HEAT TEST switch in the OVHT position.
(f)
See that the four OVERHEAT lights come on.
(g)
See that the MASTER CAUTION lights and the ANTI-ICE annunciator lights are on.
(h)
See that the ON lights go off.
(i)
Put the WINDOW HEAT switches in the OFF position.
(j)
Reset the MASTER CAUTION lights and the ANTI-ICE
annunciatorlights.
(k)
See that the ON lights, the MASTER CAUTION lights and the ANTI-ICE annunciator lights are off.
(7)
Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).
