See that the L VALVE OPEN and R VALVE OPEN lights are off after 3 seconds.
(e)
Push the left thrust lever fully forward.
(f)
Put the WING ANTI-ICE switch in the ON position.
(g)
See that the L VALVE OPEN and the R VALVE OPEN lights come on brightly for 1 to 3 seconds.
(h)
See that the L VALVE OPEN and the R VALVE OPEN are on dimly after 3 seconds.
(i)
Pull the left thrust lever to the IDLE position.
(j)
Put the WING ANTI-ICE switch in the OFF position.
(k)
See that the L VALVE OPEN and the R VALVE OPEN lights go off.
(l)
Push the right thrust lever fully forward.
(m)
Put the WING ANTI-ICE switch in the ON position.
(n)
See that the L VALVE OPEN and the R VALVE OPEN lights come on brightly for 1 to 3 seconds.
(o)
See that the L VALVE OPEN and the R VALVE OPEN lights are on dimly after 3 seconds.
(p)
Pull the right thrust lever to the IDLE position.
(q)
Put the WING ANTI-ICE switch in the OFF position.
(r) See that the L VALVE OPEN and the R VALVE OPEN lights go off. ú (s) Close the Landing Gear - AIR/GND Relay and Lights and the ú LANDING GEAR - NOSE GEAR AIR/GND circuit breakers.

4. Wing TAI Duct Leakage Test
__________________________
A. General
(1) You can use engine bleed air, APU bleed air or an external air source to do this test. The TAI valves close if the air is more than approximately 125 degrees C.

(1) Do a visual check of the TAI duct.

Look for holes.
(b)
Look for loose brackets.

(2) Do these steps if you use the APU to pressurize the TAI duct.
(a)
Start the APU (AMM 49-11-00/201).
(b)
Close the engine bleed valve.
(c)
Close the air-conditioning pack valves.
(d)
Make sure the isolation valve is in the OPEN or the AUTO position.
