Open the Forward Access Door (1103L) in the lower nose
 compartment.
Go through the Forward Access Door to disconnect electrical
 connector D5150P at the control stand.

 NOTE:____ The necessary continuity checks, in the steps that
 follow, can be made by one of two procedures.  You can
 connect the ohmmeter to the applicable receptacle in the
 lower nose compartment.  You can use a locally made test
 cable.
 With the test cable, connect one end to the receptacle
 in the lower nose compartment.  The other end goes
 through the control stand into the crew compartment.
 Then, use the ohmmeter at the top end of the test cable
 adjacent to the thrust levers.

Use the ohmmeter to measure the continuity between terminals C and NO of the wing anti-ice switch. 1) For switch S822, measure the continuity between pins 11 and
 14 on the D5150P connector. 2) For switch S823, measure the continuity between pins 12 and
 13 on the D5150P connector.Push the thrust lever forward until there is continuity between the pins on the D5150P connector.Make sure the protractor reads between 30 and 35 degrees.If the protractor is not correct, adjust the wing anti-ice switch. 1) If the switch has an adjustment screw:
 move the screw until there is continuity between the applicable pins. 2) If the switch does not have an adjustment screw: a) Loosen the screw that holds the bottom of the switch bracket.
 b)  Move the bottom end of the switch bracket until there is continuity between the applicable pins on the D5150P connector.
 c) Adjust the takeoff warning switches (S814 or S815) (Ref 31-26-21/401). d) Adjust the arm and stow switches for the thrust reverser (S824, S825, S826, S827) (Ref 78-34-05/201). e) Tighten the screw that holds the bottom end of the switch bracket.

 3) 4) 5)  Push the thrust lever until it hits the forward stop.See that there is continuity between the applicable pins on the D5150P connector.Pull the thrust lever to the idle position.
 (3)  S 434-016Connect the D5150P connector at the control stand.
 (4)  S 414-015Close the Forward Access Door (1103L).
 (5)  S 414-017Install the lever bracket for the stabilizer trim control.
 (6)  S 414-012Install the panels on the sides of the control stand. (a) Connect the electrical connections for the lightplates while you install the top panel. (b) Install the bottom panel.
 (7)  S 414-013Install the stabilizer trim wheels. (a) Install the stabilizer trim wheel with the tie rod on the right side of the control stand. (b) Install the stabilizer trim wheel on the left side of the control stand. (c) Put the nut on the end of the tie rod.
 (8)  S 864-011Close these circuit breakers and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags: (a) On the P6 panel 1) LANDING GEAR LIGHTS 2) AURAL WARNING 3) ANTI-SKID FAIL WARN AND PARK BRAKE (b) On the P18 panel 1) ANTI-ICE & RAIN CONTROL ENG 1 AND WING
