(1)
Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

(2)
Push and release each indicator light on the module.
(a) Make sure that each light comes on while you push it.

(3) Do a check of the wing anti-ice switches:
(a)
Set the WING ANTI-ICE switch to ON.
(b)
Make sure that the two wing anti-ice valves open.
(c)
Make sure that the L VALVE OPEN and R VALVE OPEN lights come on brightly for 1 to 3 seconds (this shows that the valves are in transit).
(d)
Make sure that the L VALVE OPEN and R VALVE OPEN lights become dim (this shows that the valves are open).
(e)
Set the WING ANTI-ICE switch to OFF.
(f)
Make sure that the two wing anti-ice valves close.
(g)
Make sure that the L VALVE OPEN and R VALVE OPEN lights come on brightly for 1 to 3 seconds.
(h)
Make sure that the L VALVE OPEN and R VALVE OPEN lights go off.

(5) Do a check of the engine anti-ice switches:
(a)
Set the ENG ANTI-ICE 1 and ENG ANTI-ICE 2 switches to ON.
(b)
Make sure that the two COWL VALVE OPEN lights come on brightly.

WING ANTI-ICE CONTROL MODULE (P5-11) - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

1. General_______
A. This procedure has tasks to test the P5-11 Wing Anti-Ice Module. The tests make sure the P5-11 module operates correctly after installation. The test procedure gives the module a signal from each source. Then, you look at the lights on the module to see that the module operates correctly.
B. This procedure has two tasks.
(1)
The first task does does a test of the inputs from the wing TAI valves and the throttle levers.
(2)
The second task does a test of the inputs from the thermal switches.

2. Do a Test of the Wing Anti-Ice Control Module (P5-11)_____________________________________________
A. General
(1) In this procedure, 'TAI' replaces 'thermal anti-ice'.
