Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Make sure these circuit breakers are closed:
(a)
On the P18-3 panel - Load Control Center, Left 1) WING ANTI-ICE VALVE 2) ANTI-ICE CONTROL ENG 1 & WING
(b)
On the P6-3 panel - Load Control Center, Right 1) LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LIGHTS 2) NOSE GEAR AIR/GND

Push each light on the P5-11 module to make sure it comes on.

Do these steps to see that the thermal switches make the module operate correctly:
(a)
Put the WING ANTI-ICE switch in the on position.
(b)
Disconnect electrical connector D738 from the left thermal switch.
(c)
Temporarily connect a wire between pins 1 and 2 of electrical connector D738.
(d)
Make sure that the L VALVE OPEN and R VALVE OPEN lights are on brightly.
(e)
Remove the wire between pins 1 and 2 on electrical connector D738.
(f)
Make sure that L VALVE OPEN and R VALVE OPEN lights are on dimly.
(g)
Connect electrical connector D738 to the left thermal switch.
(h)
Disconnect electrical connector D736 from the right thermal switch.
(i)
Temporarily connect a wire between pins 1 and 2 of electrical connector D736.
(j)
Make sure the L VALVE OPEN and R VALVE OPEN lights are on brightly.
(k)
Remove the wire from between pins 1 and 2 of electrical connector D736.
(l)
Make sure the L VALVE OPEN and R VALVE OPEN lights are on dimly.
(m)
Connect electrical connector D736 to the right thermal switch.

Open the LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LIGHTS circuit breaker on the P6 panel.

Do these steps to see that the module operates correctly in flight:
(a)
Make sure the WING ANTI-ICE switch goes to the OFF position automatically.
(b)
Make sure the L VALVE OPEN and R VALVE OPEN lights come on brightly and then go off.
(c)
Put the WING ANTI-ICE switch in the on position.
(d)
Make sure the L VALVE OPEN and R VALVE OPEN lights come on brightly for 1 to 3 seconds.
(e)
Make sure the L VALVE OPEN and R VALVE OPEN lights are on dimly after 3 seconds.
(f)
Disconnect electrical connector D3200 from the low flow solenoid in the left engine strut.
(g)
Make sure there is no DC voltage between pins 1 and 2 of electrical connector D3200.

Close the LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LIGHTS circuit breaker on the P6 panel.

Continue the test.
(a)
Make sure there is 28 volts DC between pins 1 and 2 of electrical connector D3200.
(b)
Disconnect electrical connector D3202 from the low flow solenoid in the right engine strut.
(c)
Make sure there is 28 volts DC between pins 1 and 2 of electrical connector D3202.

Open the NOSE GEAR AIR/GND circuit breaker on the P6 panel.
