INLET COWL TAI PRESSURE SWITCH - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the pressure switch from the Inlet Cowl Anti-Ice System
(2)
The installation of the pressure switch in the Inlet Cowl Anti-Ice System.
B. Each task contains steps for both the left and right engines. Use only the steps that are applicable to the engine in work.
C. This procedure refers to "thermal anti-ice" as "TAI".

2. Inlet Cowl TAI Pressure Switch Removal (Fig. 401)

(1) Open the applicable circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) On the P18 panel
1) For the left engine: a) ENG 1 AND WING A/I CONTROL b) ENG 1 COWL ANTI-ICE
2) For the right engine: a) ENG 2 AND WING A/I CONTROL b) ENG 2 COWL ANTI-ICE

(2) Open the right hand, fan cowl panel for the applicable engine (AMM 71-11-02/201).

(3) Remove the switch.
(a)
Disconnect the D2558 electrical connector from the switch.
(b)
Remove the fitting from the switch.
(c)
Put a temporary cap on the fitting.
(d)
Remove the clamp from the switch.
(e)
Remove the switch from the bracket.
