 (2)  S 434-033Put the bulkhead fitting through the hole in the airplane structure.
 (3)  S 374-032Use a brush to carefully apply a layer of primer to the external part of the bulkhead fitting, and to the washer, nut, and 1.00 inch of skin around the hole.
 NOTE:____ Do not apply primer to the internal areas of the bulkhead fitting.
 (4)  S 424-019Install the nozzle:
 NOTE:____ Do this procedure while the primer is wet.
 (a) (b) (c) (d) (e)  Install and tighten the washer and nut on the bulkhead fitting.Install the jamnut.Install the nozzle.Align the nozzle until the holes for the spray point to the windows.Tighten the jamnut.
 (5)  S 864-021Turn the shutoff valve at the rain repellent container to the vertical (open) position.
 (6)  S 864-020Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers: (a) P18 Panel 1) RAIN REPELLENT L 2) RAIN REPELLENT R
 (7)  S 864-026Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

 (8)  Make sure the rain repellent system operates correctly:
 (a)  Apply water to the windshield.
 (b)  Push the applicable RAIN REPELLENT L or R switch.
 (c)  Make sure a sufficient quantity of fluid comes out from the
 nozzle.

 (9)  Make sure that there is no leakage around the spray nozzle assembly.
 NOTE:____ The fluid in rain repellent container P/N 65-38196-5 has a
 citrus scent.

 RAIN REPELLENT SPRAY NOZZLE - CLEANING/PAINTING

 1.  General_______
 A.  This task is a procedure to clean the rain repellent spray nozzles (referred to as the nozzles).
 B.  The nozzles are part of the windshield washer system and the rain repellent system. A nozzle is installed at the bottom of each windshield.

Clean the opening of the nozzle with a wire.

Blow out all unwanted materials with compressed air.

Install the nozzle (Ref 30-43-11/401).
