TROUBLE PROBABLE CAUSE ISOLATION PROCEDURE REMEDY
Neither light agrees with switch position (Cont) Overheat protec-tion does not close valves when air tem-perature exceeds 125`C Defective valve control circuit (Cont) Defective over-heat control circuit Disconnect receptacle D462 from P5-11 module and check for continuity to ground while heating either in accordance with system adjustment/test procedure. IF -No continuity - Remove receptacle from thermal switch and check for con-tinuity across pins 1 and 2 while conducting test. IF -No continuity -Continuity OK -Continuity OK -Continuity -No continuity -thermal switch to 125`C Replace defective switch (Ref 30-11-21, R/I) Repair wiring between module receptacle and thermal switch receptacles Replace P5-11 module (Ref 30-11-41, R/I) Repair wiring between module receptacle and switch receptacle Replace thermal switch (Ref 30-11-21, R/I)

Jet-Cal engine analyzer) or
H294 Temp-Cal Thermal Switch Tester or
H394 Temp-Cal Tester with adapter cable BH405
BH24944 Heater Probe Kit (basic P/N)
NOTE: This kit is necessary to use the
____ testers listed above. There are different dash number kits for specific airplane model and tester combinations. Please consult with supplier.

NOTE: Each light will come on, then go off.
