Remove the applicable access panels:

for the left wing, remove 540AB and 540BB
-
for the right wing, remove 640AB and 640BB (Ref. TASK 57-27-11-000-001).

A. Preparation for Inspection
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL
_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
(1) Use a clean MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004), to clean:
-the RIB5, aft of the bolted panel.

B. Detailed Visual Inspection of the Outer Wing RIB5, Aft of the Bolted Panel
(1) Examine the RIB5, aft of the bolted panel.
Make sure that:
-
there is no corrosion or damage
-
there are no scratches or scores
-
there are no loose or damaged fasteners
-the surface protection is in the correct condition.
NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 572100) for the

correct repair procedure.
