_______ CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE.

Fully extend the slats (Ref. TASK 27-80-00-866-004).
(2)
Make sure that the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER (98D27803000000) is installed on the slat/flap control lever.

for the right wing, 622AB, 622CB, 622EB, 622FB, 622HB, 622JB, 622KB, 622LB, 622NB, 622QB.

A. Preparation for Inspection
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL
_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
(1) Use a clean MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) to clean the forward face of the front spar and all cutouts (RIB8 thru RIB22).

B. Inspection
(1) Examine the forward face of the front spar and all cutouts (RIB8 thru RIB22). Make sure that:

there is no corrosion or damage
-
there are no scratches, or scores
-
there are no loose or damaged fasteners
-the surface protection is in the correct condition.
