A. Get Access
R (1) Open the Main Landing Gear doors 834 (844) (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
R (2) Put an access platform in position at zone 147 (148).
(3) Remove the access covers 147AZ, 148AZ (Ref. TASK 57-17-11-000-001).
R (4) Take a FLASHLIGHT for the inspection.

R WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
WARNING : OBEY THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU USE THIS/THESE_______ MATERIAL/S. USE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, RUBBER GLOVES, GOGGLES AND A MASK.
(1) Remove the sealant from the inspection area.

(2) Clean the inspection area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and a lint-free cotton cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), if necessary.
(3) Make sure that the surface of the inspection area is clean and smooth.
(4) Do a visual check of the inspection area for damage or discontinuities.
(5) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage: - If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 512200,P.Block 001) for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (cracks, scratches, stress, marks, dents, bumps, ...): - If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 511100,P.Block 001) for damage classification and corrective action.

R A. Inspection (Ref. Fig. 604/TASK 57-10-00-991-025)
R R R R (1) Do a special detailed inspection of the center wing box at lower-skin stiffener ends 8 to 15. This inspection is applicable on the left and right sides (Ref. NTM 571106,P.Block-601).
(2) Make a report of damage after NDT inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage: - if you find damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 512200,P.Block 001) for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (cracks, scratches, stress, marks, dents, bumps...): - If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 511100,P.Block 001) for damage classification and corrective action.
