Open the main landing-gear doors (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2)
Put an access platform in position at the zone 147(148).
(3)
Remove the access covers 147AZ, 148AZ (Ref. TASK 57-17-11-000-001).
(4)
Use a FLASHLIGHT for the inspection.

(1)
Remove the sealant from the fasteners (1) in the inspection area.
(2)
Clean the inspection area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and a lint-free cotton cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), if necessary.

Make sure that the surface of the inspection area is clean and smooth.
(4)
Do a visual check of the inspection area for damage or discontinuities.
(5)
Make sure that there is no:
(a)
Corrosion damage:
-If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 512200,P.Block 001) for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b)
Other damage (cracks, scratches, stress, marks, dents, bumps, ...):
-If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 511100,P.Block 001) for damage classification and corrective action.
4. Procedure

A. Inspection R (Ref. Fig. 616/TASK 57-10-00-991-023)
(1)
Do a special detailed inspection of the first row of fasteners at RIB1 in the center wing box. This inspection is applicable to the upper surface of the triform fitting (2) (one each alternate bolt), between STIF8 and FR42 (Ref. NTM 571181 PB 401).

Make a report of the damage after the NDT inspection:
(a)
Corrosion damage:
