A. Get Access
(1)
Open the main landing-gear doors (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2)
Put an access platform in position at the zones 191,192,195 and 196.
(3)
Remove the wing-to-fuselage fairings: 191CT, 191LB, 192CT and 192LB (Ref. TASK 53-35-11-000-001).
(4)
Remove the quick-release access panels: 191BB, 191EB, 192EB, 192FB, 195BB and 196BB (Ref. TASK 53-35-13-000-002).
(5)
Use a FLASHLIGHT for the inspection.

B. Cleaning of the Structure

_______ MATERIAL/S. USE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, RUBBER GLOVES, GOGGLES AND A MASK.
(1) Clean the inspection area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and a lint-free cotton cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), if necessary.

A. Inspection R (Ref. Fig. 612/TASK 57-10-00-991-019)
(1)
Do a detailed inspection of the lower surface of the lower skin of the center wing box. This inspection is applicable from FR36 to FR42, between RIB1 left side and RIB1 right side. This inspection includes the lower splice at RIB1, as far as you can see.
(2)
Make sure that there is no:
(a)
Corrosion damage:
-If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 512200 PB 001) for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b)
Other damage (cracks, scratches, stress, marks, dents, bumps,..):
-If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 511100 PB 001) for damage classification and corrective action.
