A. Safety Precautions
WARNING : OBEY THE FUEL SAFETY PROCEDURES._______
(1) Obey the fuel safety precautions (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-001).
(2) Install the TOOL-ZERO LOCKING, FLAP SLAT CTL LEVER (98D27803500001) on the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Put warning notices in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the
flaps or slats.
(4) Put the safety barriers in position.

B. Fuel Configuration
(1) Move the fuel to another tank (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-869-001) or defuel the tank (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001) as applicable.
(2) Drain all of the remaining fuel from the tank through the water drain valves (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-003).

(1) Put the adjustable access platform in position below zone 540(640).
(2) Remove the access panels for the applicable wing (Ref. TASK 57-27-11-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-002): - for the left wing, remove 540AB, 540BB - for the right wing, remove 640AB, 640BB.
