(1) Use a clean MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) to clean the bottom skin lower surface at the run out of the:
-
stringer 4 (rib bay 10-11)
-
stringer 5 (rib bay 13-14)
-
stringer 13 (rib bay 8-9)
-
stringer 6 (rib bay 16-17)
-
stringer 7 (rib bay 19-20)
-
stringer 12 (rib bay 17-18).

B. Inspection
(1) Examine the lower surface of the bottom skin at the run out of:
-
the stringer 4 (rib bay 10-11)
-
the stringer 5 (rib bay 13-14)
-
the stringer 13 (rib bay 8-9)
-
the stringer 6 (rib bay 16-17)
-
the stringer 7 (rib bay 19-20)
-
the stringer 12 (rib bay 17-18).
Make sure that:
-
there is no corrosion or damage
-
there are no scratches or scores
-
there are no loose or damaged fasteners
-the surface protection is in the correct condition.
NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 572100) for the

correct repair procedure.

(1)
Remove the access platform(s).
(2)
Remove the TOOL-ZERO LOCKING, FLAP SLAT CTL LEVER (98D27803500001) from the flap/slat control lever.
(3)
Remove the warning notice(s).
(4)
Remove the safety barriers.
(5)
Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
