R A. Removal of Support Struts
R (1) Remove and discard the cotter pin (7).
R (2) Use TOOL - REMOVAL, WASHERS SL40871 to remove the locking ring (11)
R and the nut (10) (Ref. TASK 20-22-00-000-001)
R (3) Remove the bolt (8) and the bushes (9).
R (4) Remove and discard the cotter pin (12).
R (5) Use WRENCHES - NOTCHED, TIGHTENING OF NUTS NSA5454 and TOOL -
R EXTRACTION, TAB WASHERS STA-LOK NSA5454 to remove the locking ring
R (17) and the nut (16) (Ref. TASK 20-22-00-000-001).
R (6) Remove the washer (19) and the hinge bolt (14).
R (7) Remove the elevator support strut (1).
R (8) Remove the bush (15) from the elevator support strut end (1).
