R  C. Get Access 
R R  (1) Put the warning notices in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flight controls. 
R  (2) Put the access platform in postion. 
R  (3) Open the access panel 325DL (Ref. TASK 55-33-13-010-002). 
R R  (4) Remove the access panels 325EL, 325ER, 325DR (Ref. TASK 55-33-13-010-002).

 A. Remove the Rudder Support Strut
 (1)
 Install the FIXTURE - VERT. STABILIZER/RUDDER (98D27207508000).

 (2)
 Remove and discard the cotter pins (2).

 (3)
 Remove the lockwashers (5) and remove the nuts (4) with a groove nut wrench.

 (4)
 Remove the washers (3), the bolts (1) and the rudder support strut (9).

R (1) Make sure that the Green, Blue and/or Yellow hydraulic system is(are)

R depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
R (2) Make sure that the vertical and horizontal stabilizer are safe.
R (3) Make sure that the access panel 325DL is open (Ref. TASK 55-33-13-

R 010-002).

R (4) Make sure that the access panels 325EL, 325ER and 325DR are removed R (Ref. TASK 55-33-13-010-002). R (5) Make sure that the warning notice is in position in the cockpit to
