R R R (1) Make a detailed inspection of the horizontal stabilizer hinge fittings, support ribs and actuator fittings for the elevator and the adjacent structure for: - delamination, - deterioration of the structure, - scratches, marks and dents, - cracks, - corrosion, - condition of the bearings, - damaged paintwork. gives details.
R R R (2) If damage is found, look for allowable damage limits (Ref. SRM 551600 PB 101).
