-make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
-put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.

Put a warning notice on the ground service connection to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system has been depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2)
Operate the brake pedals until the pressure in the brake accumulator of the Yellow hydraulic system is at zero.
(3)
Put an access platform below the applicable false rear spar at the alternate-brake servovalve manifold (2).
(4)
Put a container below the manifold (2).
(5)
Disconnect the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-860-001).

(1) Disconnect the electrical connectors (1).

Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(3)
Disconnect the hydraulic connectors (3) and (5).
(4)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(5)
Remove the bolts (4) and remove the manifold (2).
