4. Procedure

A. Installation of the ABCU
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do a visual inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Make sure that the bonded points are in the correct condition.

(4)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(5)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(6)
Put and hold the ABCU (6) on the bracket (7) .
(7)
Attach the bonding braid (8) (Ref. ESPM 205125) with the screw (5) and the washer (3) but do not tighten it at this step.
(8)
Install the other three screws (4) and washers (3).
(9)
Tighten the screws (4) and (5) .
(10)
Connect the electrical connectors (1) and (2).
(11)
Apply electrical bonding coating PAINTS FOR DETAIL (INTERNAL AND EXTERN AL) (Material No. 07-001) on the screw (5).

the LAND CAT 3 capability test:
(a)
Make sure that the CAT 3 DUAL INOP indication is not shown on the lower ECAM DU with the FADEC GND PWR 1 and 2 pushbutton switches (maintenance panel 50VU) pushed (ON legends on) and the 3 IRs aligned (Ref. TASK 34-10-00-860-004).
(b)
Do the operational test of the LAND CAT III CAPABILITY (Ref. TASK 22-97-00-710-001).
NOTE : As an alternative procedure, you can do this test without
____ the CFDS (Ref. TASK 32-42-00-710-001) and (Ref. TASK 32-51-00-720-003).
(2) On the center pedestal, on the MCDU, do the bite test of the BSCU (LRU IDENTIFICATION) (Ref. TASK 32-46-00-740-003).

(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Close the access doors 822.
(3)
Remove the access platform(s).
(4)
