Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2)
Depressurize the Green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

D. Get Access
(1)
Put an access platform below the applicable normal-brake servovalve manifold assembly:

FOR 2613GM
below zone 731
-
FOR 2612GM
below zone 741.
(2)
Disconnect the isolation coupling of the PTU (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Normal-Brake Servovalve Manifold Assembly WARNING : DO NOT GET THE FLUID ON YOUR SKIN OR IN YOUR EYES. IF YOU DO:

-FLUSH IT AWAY WITH CLEAN WATER
-GET MEDICAL AID. CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE FLUID DOES NOT STAY ON THE AIRCRAFT
_______ STRUCTURE. IF THE FLUID GETS ON THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE, WASH IT OFF IMMEDIATELY WITH SOAP AND WATER.
(1)
Put marks on the electrical connectors (10), (14), (16) and (17) to identify their related installed locations. This will help you during installation.
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connectors (10), (14), (16) and (17).
(3)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4)
Put a container below the applicable normal-brake servovalve manifold assembly.
(5)
Disconnect the hydraulic unions (1), (2), (7) and (8).
(6)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(7)
Remove the electrical harnesses from the brackets (11) and (19) (Ref. TASK 32-11-43-000-001).
(8)
Hold the normal-brake servovalve manifold assembly.
(9)
Remove and discard the cotter pins (5).
(10)
Remove the nuts (4), the washers (3), the bolts (13) and the washers (12).
(11)
Remove the end of the bonding strap (18) and remove the brackets (11) and (18).
(12)
Remove the normal-brake servovalve manifold assembly from the mounting rail.

(13) If you are to replace the manifold (22), remove these items:
-
the pressure transducers (20) and (21) (Ref. TASK 32-42-21-000-001)
-
the safety valves (6) (Ref. TASK 32-42-36-000-001)

(2)
Disconnect the electrical connectors (6), (11), (13) and (14).
(3)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4)
Put a container below the applicable normal-brake servovalve manifold assembly.
(5)
Disconnect the hydraulic unions (1), (2), (4) and (5).
(6)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(7)
Remove the electrical harnesses from the brackets (8) and (16) (Ref. TASK 32-11-43-000-001).
(8)
Hold the normal-brake servovalve manifold assembly.
(9)
Disengage the tab washers (9) and remove the bolts (10). Remove and discard the tab washers (9).
(10) Remove the end of the bonding strap (15) and remove the brackets (8) and (16).
