A. Safety Precautions
(1)
Put the safety barriers in position.
(2)
Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gear (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3)
On the panel 400VU:
-
make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
-
make sure that the warning notice is in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
(4)
Make sure that the warning notices are in position to tell persons not to: - operate the landing gear doors
-
pressurize the Yellow and Green hydraulic systems
-
pressurize the Yellow and Green hydraulic reservoirs.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the Yellow and the Green Hydraulic systems are depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2)
Make sure that the Green and the Yellow hydraulic system reservoirs are depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3)
Make sure that the access platform is in position at the applicable main landing gear.
(4)
Make sure that the container is in position below the applicable normal brake manifold.

Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026).
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4)
Examine the filter (5) for contamination. If necessary clean the filter (5).
